Common errors on bare wires

- Cm bare copper wire: error on the product surface, red due to oxidation, scratches, ignition, failure to achieve the flexibility, resistivity is often high for wires with over 3.15 in diameter.

- Ac bare aluminum wire: error on the product surface, scratched, not meeting the rate of resistivity.

Common errors on electrical wires

- Conductor: copper wire color is dark red or black, loosely twisted wire

- Insulation cover: unstable welds, eccentric wrap, unsatisfactory insulation thickness, uneven colored plastic (the colored coating), lumpy or uncovered plastic sheath exposing the copper core

- Sheath: eccentric sheath, unsatisfactory thickness, lumpy or exposed insulation, without non-stick powders (stone powders), smeared or lacking strokes printing of the product detail.

- Packed rolls, labels, packages: The cord is not in shape, soft, untidy packaging as prescribed.

Common errors on bare wires for overhead power transmission lines:

- Bare copper cable: The surface of the cable is red due to oxidation and scratching.

- Bare aluminum cables, steel core bare aluminum cables (with or without grease), steel cables (TK): The surface is scratched, loosely twisted wire, the amount of protective grease is not in accordance with the requirements which makes the resistance high and the total cable traction force unqualified.

Common errors on twisted aluminum cable ABC 2, 3, 4-core

The size of the ribs is unsatisfactory; XLPE sheath is often faulty, uncovered; the carbon content in the insulation is unqualified, the insulation is not adhering to the conductor (surface adhesion), the end-cable product is twisted, violating the hot set norm, etc.

Common errors on types of sheathed cables:

- Conductor: scratched surface, diameter after pressing, high rate of resistance, quickly faded copper

- Insulation: the sheath is deviated or thicker than specified, lumpy, uncovered copper, broken colored tape.

- Twisted core, wrapped bandage: Diameter is often larger than the regulation, the rate of the oval is huge which is approximately 10%,

Wrapping tape is exposed or not tightly attached to the cable.

- Lining (PVC): Thickness is often larger than being specified, lumpy plastic (if scrap PVC is used)

- Sheathing, printing: The thickness is often larger than regulated, the diameter of the sheath is larger than regulated, the oval is large which is approximately 10% for multi-core cables, the letters are irregularly smudged, removed, uneven distance.
